Winter in California: Snow tubing season set to kick off in Big Bear
BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. - It will soon start to look and feel a lot like Christmas in Big Bear beginning the first weekend of November.
Crews were in the process of snowmaking at Big Bear Snow Play as overnight lows reached the low 20s in the area.
The ski hill, formerly known as "Rebel Ridge," is home to the longest runs in Southern California, according to the Big Bear Snow Play website.
The snow tube hill kicks off its winter tubing season on Saturday, November 2 at 10 a.m.
