LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - A two-car crash in downtown Los Angeles late Tuesday night sent one of the vehicles into an occupied tent of a homeless person.
The crash happened near the intersection of E. 15th Street and Hooper Avenue. The force of the impact sent a red vehicle straight into a tent on the sidewalk occupied by a homeless person. That person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to authorities.
The driver of the red vehicle took off on foot after the crash, police say. They are investigating this incident as a hit-and-run resulting in injuries.
No further details were immediately known.
