U.S. State Department warns travelers about tainted liquor in Mexico
(FOX 11) - The U.S.State Department is warning travelers to Mexico about possibly tainted alcohol.
It comes following an investigation surrounding a Wisconsin woman's death.
20-year old Abbey Conner died in January after being pulled from a pool at a resort in Playa Del Carmen.
Conner was flown to Florida where she was declared brain dead and taken off life support.
Her 22-year-old brother also reported blacking out.
The U.S. State Department is warning people to 'drink in moderation and stop and seek medical attention if you feel ill.'
