Two construction projects will impact overnight and early flights at LAX

A couple of construction projects could pose challenges to people trying to get to overnight flights at LAX.

Starting at midnight through 8 a.m. Monday, three lanes will be closed between the Tom Bradley Terminal and Terminal three. Construction on new electrical vaults will continue all month, and then the second phase will happen in June.

On top of that, starting at 11 p.m. Monday, the northbound lanes on Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday for repaving.

Those closures, both north and southbound, will happen almost every night through the end of June.

Late night drivers are advised to avoid the area.
