LOS ANGELES - Certain types of businesses are permitted to reopen Friday under state orders for curbside pick-up, including bookstores, sporting good stores, clothing stores and florists.
The Last Bookstore in Downtown Los Angeles says it’s had to furlough two-thirds of its staff during the coronavirus pandemic.
The family-owned bookstore immediately moved all of its business online.
Starting Friday it’s offering curbside pick-up. It’s also delivering curated book bundles depending on a reader’s taste anywhere in LA County.
