90's kids (and 90's lovers) rejoice! Nickelodeon has confirmed that the highly-speculated 90's show block, "The Splat" is coming to your evening lineup next month.

According to the network's official release, "Nickelodeon will throw back to the '90s every day with the launch of "The Splat," a new multiscreen content destination spanning television, seven social media platforms and a dedicated web site aggregating the most loved Nick content from the 1990s and beyond."

Contrary to popular belief after @TheSplat appeared on Twitter last month, "The Splat" will not be its own channel, but instead it will air as an 8-hour block of 90's greatness from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., starting Monday, October 5.

Across multiple social media platforms, "The Splat" has been teased with photos containing characters from beloved 90's shows, including Rugrats and Legends of the Hidden Temple, all of which will be a part of the new show block.

"We have been listening closely to our first generation of Nick kids that are craving the great characters and shows they grew up with watching Nickelodeon in the '90s," said Cyma Zarghami, President of Viacom Kids and Family Group. "We designed 'The Splat' with fans and their requests in mind, which means we're bringing together these beloved series and a high level of digital engagement to give fans a retro media experience they can't get anywhere else."

For those that are technologically savvy, a new emoji keyboard for "The Splat" will also be debuting in early October on both iTunes and Android-based platforms. The new emoji keyboard will feature more than 30 iconic Nickelodeon emoticons, stickers and GIFs based on Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life and more.
