Squatters draw the ire of neighbors in Granada Hills

Granada Hills residents say transients have taken over a home in the 17100 block of Ludlow Street, and they refuse to go even after the homeowner asked them to leave.

They say it's a nightmare that began with a good deed.

The elderly homeowner, a Vietnam veteran, allowed a homeless woman to stay at his property. Neighbors say that woman then brought over her homeless friends -- and they put up their tents in the backyard.

The homeowner later asked them to leave, but the transients have refused.

Neighbors say they need help in getting the homeless people out. We spoke with the residents and the people camping in the backyard.
