Several southbound 101 Freeway lanes closed in Sherman Oaks due to fire
LOS ANGELES - Several traffic lanes of the southbound 101 Freeway near Woodman Avenue in the Sherman Oaks area are shut down Thursday night due to a tree that caught on fire on the side of the freeway.
One lane is open as of 10:48 p.m. Drivers should expect delays. It's unknown when the freeway will fully reopen.
No further details were immediately known. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
