Facing emergency blood and platelet shortages, the Red Cross has announced a series of giveaways for those who donate in November.

LOS ANGELES - Facing emergency blood and platelet shortages, the Red Cross has announced a series of giveaways for those who donate in November.

Between now and November 12, blood and platelet donors will automatically be entered to win a 10-day trip for two to Hawaii.

The prize, courtesy of Amazon, comes in honor of the new Prime video series I Know What You Did Last Summer.
