Rancho Cucamonga Detectives looking for additional victims in adult caregiver abuse case, 2 arrested
On Friday, November 6, 2015, detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department in cooperation with other local and State authorities, served a Search Warrant at the Anyelir Home located on Lemon Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. The investigation began when State licensing authorities were contacted by a prior employee who alleged physical abuse and neglect of clients at the facility. The Anyelier Home provides lodging and care services for clients with varying levels of disabilities.
During the investigation, detectives identified two victims of past physical abuse by staff members. Evidence supported the allegations of abuse despite the victims being unable to communicate with authorities. Marselyn Sihotang and Roselina Sihotang were subsequently arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center on suspicion of Dependent Adult Abuse following the collection and review of evidence. State licensing officials removed all clients from the home pending completion of their independent investigation.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have been victimized by the suspects. If you have any additional information pertainingto this investigation, please contact Detective Beitler or Detective J. Marshall of the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department.
