Police seek man accused of pushing, threatening UCLA employee on campus

Police at UCLA are seeking a man suspected of pushing a university staff member, then making sexually explicit threatening statements in broad daylight.

The incident occurred near Westwood Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, according to the UCLA Police Department.

The victim ran from the scene and the suspect was last seen walking southbound on Westwood Boulevard toward Weyburn Avenue, police said.

He was described as Hispanic, approximately 35 years old, 5-feet-8 inches tall with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white tank top and dirty khaki pants, police said.

The suspect faces assault with intent to commit sexual assault chargers. o

The victim was not injured.
