Police Pursue Reckless Driver In El Monte

(CNS) A pursuit in South El Monte Tuesday evening. It began on the southbound 605 freeway when the CHP tried to pull the driver over for speeding. The pursuit is mostly in South El Monte, but the CHP is not actively chasing the driver because of the high speeds. The driver has gone on the wrong side of the street, narrowly escaping possible collisions.

Pursuit suspect taken into custody on Riverside and Henry in El Monte.
