Police investigate church fire in Fontana
FONTANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police were investigating a church fire Tuesday morning in Fontana.
The blaze was first reported at about 11:30 p.m. Monday at the Friendship Community Church, located in the 14800 block of Baseline Avenue. Crews found flames coming from the roof near the attic.
Firefighters were able to tackle the flames within 30 minutes, authorities said.
The church has been there for about 20 years. Crews were able to save the church's piano from water and fire damage by carrying it out of the building.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
