Pedestrian fatally struck by multiple vehicles in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES - Police Monday were investigating a crash where a pedestrian was fatally struck in the Watts neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department received a call around 4:10 a.m. about a collision that occurred on the intersection of 112th Street and Central Avenue.
The victim was identified as Norris Lucky, 32.
The driver of the first vehicle who hit Lucky pulled over with attempts to render aid. However, as the driver pulled over, Lucky was hit by multiple vehicles in the southbound lanes. The other drivers did not stop to help and fled the scene, the LAPD said.
Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
