Insurgent - Rotten at 36%

Directed by: Robert Schwentke (Red, RIPD)

Tris and Four are on the run after the events of Divergent, and Jeanine and the Erudite faction will stop at nothing to end their insurgency.

Critics don't like it. The cast puts in some decent performances, but the it's too dour and lacking in tension. I didn't like it.

The Gunman - Rotten at 17%

Starring: Sean Penn, Idris Elba, Javier Bardem, Ray Winstone

Directed by: Pierre Morel (Taken, District 13)

An international operative wants out of the game so he can settle down with his love, but the agency he works for has other ideas.

Critics hate it. The story is pretty silly, and the talented cast is mostly wasted on weak material.

Cinderella - Certified Fresh at 84%

Starring: Lily James (Downton Abbey), Richard Madden, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter

Directed by: Kenneth Branagh

A live-action retelling of the classic fairy tale.

Critics like it. It's more traditional that you might expect, but this old fashioned fairy tale does most everything right.

Run All Night - Rotten at 59%

Starring: Liam Neeson, Ed Harris, Joel Kinnaman, Common, Vincent D'Onofrio

Directed by: Jaume Collet-Serra (Nonstop, Unknown)

To save his son's life, a retired hitman has to the kill the son of his best friend, a local mob boss.

Critics are split. It's another two-fisted performance from Neeson, and Harris is a great foil, but the plot is so convoluted it throws off the rhythm of the film. I enjoyed it.
