Mountain lion kills miniature horse in Newbury Park

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - Mountain lion killed a miniature horse named "Mo" over the weekend in Newbury Park, officials said.

The attack was reported early Sunday by a resident who said the animal had gotten into a corral and killed the horse.

Ventura County sheriff's deputies responded and fired non-lethal bean bags to scare the mountain lion away.
