SUN VALLEY, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - A Metrolink train and a box truck collided Tuesday in the Sun Valley area, resulting in a number of apparently minor injuries.
The crash was reported about 10:40 a.m. near the 8200 block of San Fernando Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
According to Metrolink, train number 212 was on the Antelope Valley Line and was heading to Los Angeles. The train consisted of six cars, and there were about 190 passengers on board, according to the LAFD.
Information was not immediately available on the number of patients, but reports from the scene indicated there were no major injuries.
