McDonald's brings back the McRib
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - McDonald's is bringing back its famed McRib sandwich.
The fast-food chain posted on its website that the cult classic sandwich was 'Coming Soon' and then the Southern California McDonald's Twitter account posted that the McRib was available as of November 2nd.
The sandwich was last sold in restaurants in December 2016 and was first sold 25 years ago and it has a loyal following.
The McRib is made of 100% seasoned boneless pork, McDonald's signature McRib sauce - a sweet, tangy, barbeque style sauce - and served with dill pickles and mild, fresh slivered onions on a toasted hoagie-style bun. Like all of McDonald's sandwiches, the bun is now free of high-fructose corn syrup.
Fans can find out which locations are carrying the McRib by downloading the 'McRib Finder app' for iOS and Android phones.
