Man wanted for using small boy to shoplift alcohol, candy from Glendale drug store

The Glendale Police Department is asking for the public's help on Friday as it seeks to identify a man seen on video using a small boy to steal alcohol and candy from a Rite Aid on Pacific Avenue in Glendale.

Glendale Police detectives say they're disturbed by the fact that the suspect had a child with him when he committed his crime and used the child's backpack to store the items he was stealing.

The shoplifting occurred at 6:45 on the evening of October 26th.

The man is white or Hispanic - between 30 and 40, between 5'3" and 5'6" with a medium build and tattoos on his left arm and hand.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Glendale police at (818) 548-4818.
