Man shot to death at Exposition Park area house party

Two men got into a fight at a house party early Sunday morning in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles, and one pulled out a gun and shot the other to death.  

The shooting happened at about 1:10 a.m. in the 3800 block of WoodlawnAvenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.  

The gunman, believed to be in his 30s, fled the scene after the shooting.  

The victim, also believed to be in his 30s, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.  

No suspect description or name of the shooter was immediately available. There was no immediate word on what the argument was about.
