Man rushed to the hospital following hit-and-run in Pico-Union, LAPD looking for driver

LAPD detectives need your help to solve a hit-and-run that occurred in the Pico-Union area. They have the car and video of the crash, now, they just need the driver.
LOS ANGELES - A man was rushed to the hospital after being involved in a hit-and-run Thursday night, LAPD said.
The Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to the area of Olympic Boulevard and Alvarado Street in Pico-Union at about 10:48 p.m.
First responders found a man lying on the roadway. L.A. firefighters loaded the victim into an ambulance and took him to the hospital. LAPD says the driver of the vehicle took off after hitting the victim.

No description of the suspect vehicle or driver were immediately known.
The man was listed in critical condition by authorities.
