Man fatally shot following Halloween party in Pico Rivera

PICO RIVERA (CNS) - A 23-year-old man was pronounced dead after he was found with a gunshot wound on a street in Pico Rivera.

Deputies found the man on the 9600 block of Par Place at 12:03 a.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The dead man and the suspect were at a party when they got into an argument, deputies said.

The suspect pulled a gun and shot the man several times before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to deputies.

The shooting remains under investigation, but deputies said it appears to be gang-related.
