Man arrested for DUI after reportedly crashing into elderly woman in Fontana

FONTANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUI in Fontana after being accused of crashing into multiple cars and striking a woman in her 70's Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 4:45 p.m. in the 16200 block of Orange Court. Fontana police say Angel Torres was driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed his car into several vehicles, a house, and an unidentified elderly woman.

The crash victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Torres was arrested after a brief foot pursuit with police.

The investigation is ongoing.
