Malcolm Jamal-Warner remembered as 'kind, generous, caring' man by close friend

Friends, family, co-stars, and fans were grieving after the sudden passing of Malcolm Jamal-Warner, whose acting career spanned decades following his breakout role as Theodore Huxtable on "The Cosby Show."

‘He was a kind, generous, and caring man’

What they're saying:

His close friend, actor and director Chris Bruno, joined GDLA+ to share what he’ll remember about his friend of over 20 years.

"I want people to know the man that Malcolm was. He was a kind, generous, and caring man. He was an amazing husband, father, musician, actor, and friend. He's been a friend of mine for 20 years now. And I just want people to know that the world has lost a real gem, especially now all that we have going on in the country right now, like Malcolm was a uniter. And he was an inspiration to me and provided support and guidance for me as a friend all these years and I just want everybody to know how much the world is going to miss Malcolm Jamal-Warner," Bruno said.

Bruno continued to say, "We are all in deep, deep mourning right now. A very close circle of friends and family, and I just wanted to set the record right that the world is going to miss a great man, and we are mourning together."
