LA's Most Wanted: Murder of Kenneth Campos and his wife in Lennox

(FOX 11) - Kenneth Campos and his wife frequently stopped at the Golden Donut shop in the early morning hours when they could get day old donuts for free. As a homeless couple they had to make do with whatever was available to them.

Golden Donuts is at the corner of 111th Street and Hawthorne Boulevard in the Lennox area near LAX.
On Monday, November 9, 2015, they were at the shop when they were shot by two Polynesian men with gang connections.

Earlier that night, at least two Polynesian men had been in a gold colored Mercury Grand Marquis. They had been chasing a man riding his bicycle on the southbound side of Hawthorne Boulevard. He was able to escape them by dodging in and out of the traffic islands.

Apparently angered by their inability to catch the bicycle rider, detectives believe the men began to search for someone -- anyone -- to kill.

They found their target when they noticed Kenneth Campos and his wife at the donut shop.

They were murdered with a viciousness that re-defines the term "killed in cold blood."

One of the shooters was described as a Polynesian male, 20 to 25 years old, 5'10" to 6'1' tall, weighing approximately 170 to 180 pounds. The other shooter was also a male Polynesian, 40 to 45 years of age, 6'00" to 6'03" tall, weighing 225 to 250 pounds.
