LA's Most Wanted: 2013 Mysterious Murder Of Marcus Nieto

(FOX 11) There is an unusual $20,000 reward for information relating to the murder of Marcus Nieto.

Nieto lived in West Covina where he was last seen alive on February 15, 2013. Investigators know he visited a friend in Pomona and then returned home.

Where he was and exactly what happened to Marcus Nieto after that is unknown. Two horseback riders on the Altadena Crest horse trail found Marcus' body the next morning.

The Coroner's investigation suggests that he was murdered where his body was found.

Mr. Nieto's family and friends were not aware that he was familiar with the area. They cannot explain how or why he ended up there.

Anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is urged to contact Detective Robert Gray or Detective David Gunner at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau at 323.890.5500, or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS.

The reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mr. Nieto's killer(s).
