LAPD conducting death investigation in downtown Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Police officers were conducting a death investigation Thursday morning in downtown Los Angeles.
Police received a call for service just after 6 a.m. and responded to the area of Flower St. and 3rd St. where they discovered a dead body, the LAPD said.
According to a report from the scene, the body was found in a parking garage of the World Trade Center complex.
An LAPD representative said an investigation was continuing, but the death was not considered to be a homicide.
Information regarding the age and gender of the deceased was not immediately available.
The cause of death remained under investigation.
