LA students go to DC for March for Our Lives rally against gun violence
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Fifteen students from five Los Angeles high schools are heading to Washington, D.C. to participate in the March for Our Lives rally against gun violence on Saturday.
One of the students, Edna Chavez, is among those expected to speak at the national rally.
There are reportedly 838 marches and other official and unofficial events planned around the world Saturday in what organizers have called the March for Our Lives.
The largest event in Los Angeles on Saturday will take place at 9 a.m. at 6th and Spring streets downtown.
