LA band taps at-home fans for music video

It was International Dance Day and couldn't we all use a reason to dance right now!

The Los Angeles indie-rock band Yony turned to fans to make a choreographed music video. People from across the country submitted their at-home dance clips.

Yony took an old song of theirs and provided choreography info.

Mike Cionni is Yony's creator and songwriter. He says the song was a perfect fit for this quarantine era. The name of the song is "Every Dirt Road Leads to Vegas."

Michelle Maret is a back-up singer. She says the song means we end up in the same place. Bree Doehring is Cionni's girlfriend and music video editor. She compiled 60 dance submissions to thread the dance routine together.

The highlight of the video is 5-year-old Jayden who broke out all the moves.

Yony's Echo Park gig was canceled by the pandemic. Yony is hoping to play Highland Park on June 10 providing the "safer at home" order lifts.
