Japan Foundation kicks off 'Matsuri' the festival in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - The Japan Foundation is sharing the culture and heritage of Japan with a free festival Thursday night, featuring live music, food and drinks.
Attendees can try on traditional summer kimonos and get their photos taken as a part of the celebration. FOX 11's Sandra Endo got to check it out!
The "matsuri" or festival is 5 to 8 p.m. at the Japan Foundation Los Angeles, located at 5700 Wilshire Boulevard.
