Homicide detectives investigating human remains found in Palmdale

PALMDALE, Calif. (FOX 11) - Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office are investigating human remains found in Palmdale Wednesday afternoon.

The remains were found in the area of 235th Street East and Avenue T, according to authorities.

It's unknown how long the remains had been there or who the identity of the person may be.

The investigation is ongoing. No further details were immediately known.
