Homeowner shoots burglary suspect in Arlington Heights
LOS ANGELES, CA (CNS/FOX 11) - A man shot and killed one of two burglary suspects who entered his home in the Arlington Heights area this morning, police reported.
The shooting occurred about 8:40 a.m. in the 1700 block of Fifth Avenue, said Los Angeles police Officer Aareon Jefferson.
The wounded suspect, described as an 18- to 25-year-old Hispanic man, died at the scene, according to Jefferson and the county coroner's office. His name was not immediately released.
The other suspect fled and was being sought. He was described as an approximately 20-year-old Hispanic man with a mustache and clad in a black sweatshirt and gray pants.
