BRENTWOOD, Calif. - The Golden Girls may be Florida girls, but their iconic ranch style home featured on the hit sitcom lives in LA’s exclusive Brentwood neighborhood.
And for the first time, the home built in 1955, is up for sale. Nobody's seen inside the home until now.

Rachelle Rosten of Douglas Elliman landed this once-in-a-lifetime listing. She says the exterior of 245 North Saltair Avenue was filmed for the show's first season in 1985. Beyond the architecture, Rosten says the producer' were drawn to the landscaping.
“At the time the owner was a collector of exotic tropical plants. And it was very lush and tropical so it felt like Miami,” Rosten said.
Inside the house is a surprise of mint condition mid-century Japanese Hawaiian decor. The home is 29- hundred square feet with four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

“You walk inside and its soaring ceilings. To the outside floor to ceiling glass very dramatic,” Rosten described the house
And don’t forget the kitchen... it’s as retro as the show.
“And of course my favorite, the tri-color kitchen the turquoise, avocado, and yellow kitchen.”
