You've heard of stand-up paddle boarding. How about stand-up PEDAL boarding? Hobie, the company that makes kayaks, has just released a new board that will have you feeling like you're walking on water.

Gina Silva is live in Dana Point with this new toy.

You're looking at the Mirage Eclipse by Hobie. A board that doesn't require you to paddle.

It has a stair step with underwater fins that push the board forward. it also has handle bars that allow you to steer…

It's a good cardio vascular workout because you can paddle as hard as you want or you can cruise as you want.

Tim Boyer is the owner of Dana Point Jet Ski. He managed to get four Eclipse boards on the day they were released but they sold out immediately. He's waiting for Hobie to distribute more boards.

The boards come in two sizes...a ten-and-a-half footer costs $2500…, while the 12-foot Eclipse costs around $2600.
