Heat Wave Makes An Early Appearance In SoCal


Right now, they're predicting triple digit temperatures in the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley and the Santa Clarita Valley.

Whenever we have these hot temperatures wildfires become a concern, but At this point LA fire says they don't plan to pre-deploy additional weather resources because we're not expecting high winds.

Still, they recommend you clear away any dry brush that may be around your home as a precaution.

Whenever the temps enter into the triple digits it's important to remember that even a few hours of exertion may cause severe dehydration, heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Stay hydrated, stay inside, and the elderly and infirm should be in air conditioning between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

And if you want an easy fix, make a trip to the beach.
