Hacienda Heights neighborhood offering $10,000 reward after string of burglaries

A Hacienda Heights neighborhood has pooled their money together to offer a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrests of the suspects involved in a string of burglaries in the area.

The break ins have happened along Old Canyon Rd. throughout the month of December, and several of the suspects have been caught on home security video.

"If I ever see this guy, ima give him a ride, he's not gonna like where I take him, but I'm gonna give him a ride," said Gregory Murkidjanian, while referencing a photo of a suspect. "I just hope that they catch this son of a bitch, really I do."

He told FOX 11 his home was burglarized earlier in the month by the suspects, who got away with his wife's jewelry box.

Another man told FOX 11 his home was burglarized by the suspects last Friday while his 87-year-old mother was sleeping inside.

"You work so hard to have what you have and to have these punks come in and just break your window and scare your mother, justice needs to be done," he said.

LASD met with the neighborhood on Thursday night to reassure them that they'll be on the lookout, and they'll be ready to make arrests.

Anyone with information is asked to contact LASD.
