FOX's Jack Abernethy: Nothing but praise for 'Empire'

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - Hey look who it is!

FOX Television Stations CEO Jack Abernethy stopped to chat with Bob DeCastro and Lauren Sivan Sunday on the Emmy Awards red carpet.

Abernethy had nothing but praise for the network's hottest show "Empire."

When asked if he thought the show was snubbed for the drama series category this year, he seemed hopeful for season two.

"They have been, but we'll see next year. I think next year will be the year that we'll see more nominations for 'Empire,'" he added.

"Empire" Season 2 will premiere Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
