Interesting show this week in which we speak with a number of young people about how they are helping other youth and three politicians on how they are helping the homeless.

In SEGMENT ONE we learn about a new app from Los Angeles suicide prevention hotline "Teen Line". It's called "Teen Talk" and is a way for young people that don't want to talk on the phone to be able to express their anxieties, fears, frustrations or, even, suicidal leanings and still reach out without fear when seeking help.

SEGMENT TWO brings us a significant update on homelessness in LA County from the Mayor of Lancaster Rex Parris, LA City Councilman Joe Buscaino and Peter Lynn who heads up the LA County Housing Services Authority. The Mayor describes a new campus just for the Homeless. The councilman discusses some new projects being developed in his district for the homeless.

SEGMENT THREE is a great conversation with a terrific 8-year-old who says she loves children and has wanted to help them. She set up a YouTube Channel in which she reads books to kids in dire health situations at LA's Children's Hospital. Shira Josephson joins us with her parents singer-songwriter Brook Josephson and TV/Movie Producer Barry Josephson.

SEGMENT FOUR looks ahead to next week and our road-show traveling along ROUTE 66. There is also a very VERY special guest in this segment. It's my daughter Rachel.
