First US cruise ship docks in Havana, Cuba in over 50 years

A huge milestone last weekend in U.S.- Cuba relations. The first American cruise ship has docked in Havana in more than 50 years.

The Carnival Cruise ship 'Adonia' left Miami on its historic voyage to Havana, Cuba Sunday with about seven-hundred passengers on-board.

The ship will return to Miami next Sunday.

Cruise ships are expected to bring thousands of American visitors in the coming months.

The Adonia will sail every other week from Miami to Cuba. The cost of a ticket on the cruise ranges from $1,800 to $7,000 per person.
