Dogs surf to raise awareness about pet euthanasia

DENVER, Col. (FOX 35 WOFL) - An event for pets in Denver, Colorado is really making some waves!

In an effort to spread awareness about pet euthanasia, pet owners can now take their pets surfing.

The event, hosted by the Colorado Rockies, is called "Bark at the Park." While the event is a lot of fun, it also hopes to stop the 60 to 80-thousand dogs and cats being put to sleep a week.
