DJ Akademiks is under fire after a live-stream video caught audio of the social media personality making disturbing comments towards a minor.
Over the weekend, DJ Akademiks was on a live stream with a 15-year-old boy who was reportedly moderating the Discord app. DJ Akademiks invited the teen into the conversation and started asking him a series of graphic and inappropriate questions.

In the disturbing video, DJ Akademiks asked the teen if he would let livestreamer PlaqueBoyMax seduce him.
"[PlaqueBoyMax] said he wanted to try f*****g with you. Would you let [PlaqueBoyMax] f*** you?" DJ Akademiks asked in the video.
"No," said the boy in the video.
"Why not?" DJ Akademiks asked in the video. "You always wanted me to be next to you. I could be inside of you. Pause."
Shortly further into the conversation, DJ Akademiks raised a graphic hypothetical question asking the teen moderator if he would have sex with an adult.
"If [PlaqueBoyMax] got a sister and she threw you the box, would you smash?" DJ Akademiks asked in the video.
"No, because I'm 15," the teen responded in the live stream.
"What that mean?" DJ Akademiks asked in the video.
"She's above 18," the teen said in the live stream. "It [would be] grooming."
DJ Akademiks faces backlash
Days after the disturbing exchange was played on the live stream, a popular radio show, The Breakfast Club, broadcasted the audio of the incident to its audience.
"That was weird, to say the least," The Breakfast Club co-host Loren LoRosa said of the exchange during its Jan. 27 broadcast of the show.
Fellow hosts of The Breakfast Club applauded the teen in the live stream for shutting down DJ Akademiks' questions.
"That's a wise little 15-year-old," said Charlamagne tha God, The Breakfast Club co-host.
"He was very smart," LoRosa added.

Following the live stream, DJ Akademiks' Twitch account got taken down. Users looking for the social media personality's profile received a message from Twitch with the following message: "This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."
FOX 11 emailed Twitch, but the social media platform could not be reached for comment prior to publication of this report.
In a separate live-stream video, DJ Akademiks addressed the incident, calling it a "teachable moment."
"I am wrong. I will be better," he said in the video. "Hopefully people can learn from this whole little scandal with me."
As of January 28, law enforcement have not made any announcements on to DJ Akademiks over the live-stream videos. There are no announcements made by officials explicitly accusing the popular social media personality of committing a crime.
