Cookie Good: Yummy food runs in the Canter family

(FOX 11) - You can't spell Canter's without C-A-N, and when it comes to all things delicious= this is a family that definitely CAN!

Manny Canter's famous Deli Canter's on Fairfax is an iconic staple in Los Angeles, but now his grandson Ross is making a name for himself and it been a real TREAT!

Cookie Good located in Santa Monica is a chic bakery boutique that is run by Ross Canter and his wife Melanie Canter! A family owned business whose service is as warm as their famous cookies! They invited me to come by and check out the shop today (located on Wilshire Blvd.) to try the cookies and test out making them too! Let's just say I got an "A for effort".

Father's Day is only a few days away, and they are offering gift wrapped boxes made special for the Father in your life! Flavors include: Sprinkle Cookies, Black and White cookies, Rugelach cookies, and even a CHEETOS cookie. You read that, right! I even tried it, and it was good!

The special treat of today's shoot was getting to bring back a special box for our very own anchor Dad, Dan Cohen, who is celebrating his first Father's Day at Fox 11! Dan has a beautiful family and now he's a part of ours here at the station!

Happy Father's Day, Dan! Treat yourself! (Literally)
