Celebrities and artists took to social media to express their sadness as they mourn the loss of a legend.

His last tweet came on Monday, April 18, a promotion for his 2016 Piano & A Microphone tour program, which he kicked off in Australia in February. The multi-hyphenate artist was also set to release his first book, a tell-all memoir titled The Beautiful Ones, in fall 2017.
