CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Meteor falls to earth near Southern California
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - An apparent meteor streaks across the night sky over Southern California prompting millions of people to ask…"did you see it?"
A roughly three-second streak of green light was seen over L.A. around 10:00pm Tuesday night.
You can see it in this video -- don't blink...
It was seen from the Mexican border up to Central California.
The U.S. Strategic Command concluded that the "re-entry of a man-made object did not occur...."
That means it wasn't a satellite or space junk - but rather it was likely a meteor burning up as it entered Earth's atmosphere.
