Car dealerships turn to online options amid pandemic

Car dealerships are turning to online options during the coronavirus pandemic.

Family-owned Southern California Preowned in Anaheim is now one of many dealerships offering a “no contact “ car buying process.

With the process, customers find the vehicle they want online and the deal is negotiated.

In addition, the car is completely sanitized and delivered right to the consumer for a test drive.

It all happens without  the driver having to leave the house to buy a car.

Owner George Rios says the new process has prevented him from shutting down the dealership.

He added that technology has completely changed the car buying process and made it more efficient.

Southern California Preowned specializes in plug-in hybrids.
