Baldwin Park students receive holiday shopping spree for new winter clothes

More than 350 Baldwin Park Unified students from elementary to high school went on a shopping spree Tuesday for a new winter clothes as part of the 22nd annual Santa Clothes Project.

Participating students, selected based on their family's financial need, were paired with volunteer shoppers at the Baldwin Park Walmart store and received a $50 gift card to buy winter attire.

The program is in partnership with the city of Baldwin Park and community partners, district collected donations and requested volunteer personal shoppers.
