Ammunition sales skyrocket ahead of new 2018 law restricting sales

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - Gun owners are stocking up on ammunition before a new California law goes into effect January 1st, 2018.

The new law makes it illegal to order ammo online and have it delivered to your front door.

Online ammo websites such as LAXammo.com have until December 31st to ship any new orders...after that -- no deal.

The new law also requires gun shops to store ammo behind a counter.

Gun enthusiasts will no longer be allowed to grab ammo themselves.
