3 people killed, 3 wounded in Westlake early morning shooting

A shooting Thursday in the Westlake area left three people dead and three in critical condition, Los Angeles police said.

The shooting was reported at 12:30 a.m. at Second Street and Union Avenue during a house party, said Lt. R. Petillo of the LAPD's Rampart Station.

The dead were two men and one woman, Petillo said.

All of the victims were outdoors, she said.

The victims reportedly argued with the possible suspects at the party, according to media reports.

The suspects then fled in a vehicle after the attack. No suspect information was immediately available.
