2 pedestrians injured in Beverly Hills vehicle crash

Police closed all eastbound lanes of Santa Monica Boulevard at Rexford Drive Monday evening due to a vehicle crash involving two pedestrians in Beverly Hills.

The roadways will remain closed during the investigation. Beverly Hills police say two pedestrians were injured in the crash shortly after 7 p.m.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.

The pedestrians were taken to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown. The driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrians stopped and remained, and is said to be cooperating with police.
