1 person killed in South Los Angeles shooting

Authorities today identified a man who was killed in a shooting outside a store in South Los Angeles.

Tywaun Cannon, 45, died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Florence and Normandie avenues.

Family members said Cannon had gone into a store to buy some last-minute Valentine's Day items and was shot during a robbery attempt.

Police were looking for two men in their 20s who fled the scene. One of them was described as a black male adult in his 20s wearing a white hat and jacket. The second suspect was described as a black male adult also in his 20s wearing all dark clothing.
